La robótica es un tema que a muchos les puede interesar. Lleva años en nuestra cultura, primero en la literatura y luego se fueron haciendo realidad poco a poco. Hoy en día los tenemos en todos lados.
Aquí les dejo un proyecto que toca los tema de robótica y inteligencia artificial.
En Puerto Rico según datos del censo 2016, existen alrededor de 185,000 personas sordo mudas. Esta cifra es bastante alta tomando en consideración la tasa poblacional en la isla.
La joven Camila Geigel se a certificado como instructora de signos de lenguas en los Estados Unidos y ahora mismo se encuentra en Puerto Rico enseñándoles a jóvenes cómo comunicarse. Ella usa la tecnología ya que considera que es un lenguaje en común que tienen y sobre todo facilita el proceso de aprendizaje.

La robótica y la inteligencia artificial poco a poco han ido incrementando su prevenida en nuestro diario vivir. Están en casi todos lados y hemos llegado a un punto en donde ni nos percatamos de lo que son.
Javier Galva es un joven estudiante que actualmente cursa en Manhattan College haciendo un bachillerato en ingeniería industrial y un minor en robótica. Este joven de 20 años tiene un gran potencial para lograr grandes cosas. Algunos de sus planes futuros incluye la construcción y un supermercado inteligente. A este joven se le hizo unas preguntas en donde le dábamos libre albedrío en su contestación. Las preguntas fueron las siguientes:
“No, creo que la inteligencia artificial vaya a substituir al humano por completo pero si cambiará varias profesiones relacionadas a la mano de obra. Pero en la construcción hay muchos cálculos que necesitan al humano y su perspectiva.”
“Si, considero que está yendo a un paso muy avanzado. Deberíamos buscar la manera de ponerle un poco más de orden, restringirla y educar a las personas sobre su uso. Pero al final del día no podremos hacer nada ya que es lo más necesario para el desarrollo humano.”
Los programas de aquí son excelentes comparados a otros en la nación o Puerto Rico. Hemos competido con universidades en Japón e India, como también a estado presente el recinto de Mayagüez. Manhattan College se enfoca en ingeniería por lo que su programa llama la atención al nivel global. Siempre andan buscando haciendo mejoras y avances tecnológicos para sus estudiantes.

Our profesor really takes time to studies many software and websites that can be handy many times. He showed us a what I consider a great source of information and news, we talk about Feedly.
Feedly is a great app focused in keeping its user updated with the things we are interested and like. You can browse any profesional terms such as: economy, science, health, gaming etc. It’s one of the most user-friendly apps in this specific market. Here is a photo of my 10 favorites personal feed:

El pasado año el pueblo puertorriqueño sufrió un evento que no tenía antecedentes. La llegada del huracán María marcó la vida de muchas familias y comunidades. El huracán llegó a la isla y arrasó con todo lo que tenía al frente. Muchas personas sufrieron pérdidas materiales como sus techos, puertas, documentos, ropa y otros de primera necesidad.
Tuve la oportunidad de trabajar en programa federal STEP FEMA, donde pude poner mi conocimiento y sentimientos a uso para poder ayudar y consolar a muchos personas. Dia a dia notaba lo mucho que el pueblo de Puerto Rico perdió, pero aun así nunca perdían la esperanza y siempre miraban hacia al frente sin importar el obstáculo que tienen de frente.

Before the actual technology existed the world was focused in multimedia devices that helped connect the world. The generation that interacted first with this technology is known as the baby boomers. This generation was first in expanding the use of the media and creating new ways for people to communicate.

The follow up generations were focused in developing this technology. By 1973 the cellphone was invented but if you think they are similar that the ones we have in the present you are mistaken. Cell Phones back then was the thing that everybody needed. At first phones were big cases that worked almost as a computer but also was a expensive product. I am talking way back, touch screens that did everything wasn’t even in the panorama.

They are many known dates that changes the generation gap but I consider myself part of generation Z. This are known as digital natives, we were born with the technology invented and with its biggest boom in history. Already at 4 I receive a Playstation 2 for only $300 and that was something I didn’t even ask, back then it was a normal thing. For the past generation the would have bought a Atari that would cost around the $1,000 with less specs. Although the playstation is a gaming machine it was most known for being the less expensive DVD player. I can remember the first time using an iPhone and with the first touch I already knew how to use it. Technology has become part of people lives, I even considered it as new limb to the human body when it comes to cellphones. We are always carrying it to everywhere we go, it has our most valuable information and trust me if we can’t find it in 1 minute we can get really moody and desperate. Technology is part of my future because I’m planning in being an app developer that means that im just scratching the surface of what I want to accomplish with the technology.
